Boycott the Preakness. Your voice will be heard.

But you won't, because race players in general don't care if horses are on drugs as long as they can cash a ticket.

FYI, I will not bet on the Preakness card at all.

Yep, the slots are supporting horse racing now. I'm still a horse guy though so you know I'm an old fart!

As far as a boycott on the Preakness goes, We all know that trainers cheat and it's part of the game we all love. So I'll be playing on Preakness Day along with all the other degenerates who can't miss out on the big day.

Yep, kinda what I figured.
Who gives a squat if the horse has a heart attack in his stall next week.
"I" want to play the big day. That's the most important thing.
And members of the racing commissions have the same mindset .... money over morality.

I won't bitch about the Derby because I had Medina Spirit and Jack can verify it. Cheating is just part of the game, IMO.

And this makes it okay?

Jockeys use cocaine, that can kill them, by choice. Horses don't get a choice about drugs that can kill them.

Yep HOSS had Medina Spirit, and yeah would love to see the game clean of the cheaters, but a long way to go before that takes place imo.

Got it. You don't care how you win, as long as you win.
You are in the majority.
Does it change anything for you when the horses die from drugs? Both Navarro and Baffert have had multiple instances.

That will never happen. I'm not delusional. Just draw the line at killing for sport.

FYI, an exercise I do is cross-reference the cause of death from each year compiled by
http://horseracingwrongs.org/
You can then get a good idea about which ones are drug related and trainer of record.
This website has records online dating back to 2014.

To clarify, website doesn't post trainer of record in all cases. I get that from horse PPs (via my databases).

NO Prof, it changes nothing for me. There are plenty of horses to take their place. I know this is a cold non-feeling statement but I don't give a rats ass about individual horses or who trains them.
